caleb's vocabulary grows with leaps and bounds. he's such a little copy cat, so we have to watch what we say...it's funny how he even copies your tone and intonation. he's learning more letters, but still gets confused with several, like n, m, s, z, v, u, g, q. understandable, but hopefully with practice he'll pick them up quickly. he only knows capital letters so far, so we'll have to introduce lower case too. he can count to ten, but messes up in the middle...1, 2, 3, 4, 7, correct him back to 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. of course, once we start him counting he keeps saying, "Again, again, again," and will count many, many times before he gets tired of it.
today while he was playing basketball dave was laughing cuz caleb has picked up the point guard's mannerisms. he'll hold the ball on his side and point with his finger here and there. so funny. i said hopefully he has skills to be a point guard cuz that's all he's going to be tall enough for. he has the bossy attitude that will serve him well on the court. hehe.
