top teeth

brynna's two bottom teeth came out at about five months...and since then...nothing. caleb's bottom teeth came out at four or five months and then his top teeth didn't come in until about eight months, so i figured brynna would be kind of similar. hers are taking a bit longer to emerge, though. when dave took her to her nine month appointment doctor said that the top two would be out soon...we can see that the gums are white, and i swear i can feel one coming through on the top left side. last night she woke up SCREAMING like i've never heard her scream before. we rubbed some teething gel on her top gums and gave her a little dose of tylenol. after about 15 minutes of screaming, she settled down and fell back asleep. i kept her on the bed with me because i felt so sorry for her pain (yep, i'm a wimp). she slept pretty well and only got up crying one other time and was soothed pretty quickly after putting teething gel on her gums again. i think i'm going to put some on before she goes to bed tonight and when she wakes up to eat, just to prevent anything.
