Three days as a working mommy...and it hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought it would be. There, I said it, and now it's going to get all messed up!

First day I was kind of sad...I tried my best not to cry on the way to school but some tears did escape. I put pictures of Caleb on my desk, though, and that helped. Having a no-prep day to start with and seeing all the kids helped too.

Second day...Caleb gets up at 4:45 and eats...then doesn't want to go back to sleep. I'm hella tired so we lie down in bed and he just kind of cruises for a while. Then he starts fussing and after a while I ask Dave to take him cuz I really just need about 20 minutes more of sleep. So he takes him out, I take a quick nap, and then I hear Caleb really fussing so I take him back and put him to sleep. He goes to sleep at about 6:15 and we get ready and go to school.

Third day...how's this...Caleb sleeps the entire night! He goes down around 10:00 p.m. and when we're ready to leave at about 7:00 he's just starting to stir! Kind of sad that I didn't get to hold him, but extremely happy that I got to sleep all night (well, except for when my mom's extremely loud alarm goes off at like 4:00 a.m.!).

Tomorrow...last day of the short week. I just pray for a good sleep tonight (though I think he'll be waking up cuz he only ate 4 times today).
