So Caleb's recent "routine" (what routine...no routine...I call it a routine and he changes it up...) is to get up at 4:30 a.m. to eat. So I'm thinking...well, he gets up then, I feed him and put him back down by 5:00...then do I stay up and do stuff, or do I get in a bit more sleep? I'm thinking get more sleep, but we'll see if that proves to be the only time I have to get some stuffs done...

Tomorrow's my test...how will I be as a working mommy? I'm sure it will all work itself out...thank goodness for starting with a 4 day week. But then again, 4th quarter is killers with only two holidays. Who am I, a state worker??? Hehe...so spoiled!

Dave's starting to get sick...grrreat. I don't want to catch it and I don't want Caleb sick.

Caleb is listening to my mom read to him Green Eggs and Ham. He's a good listener when we read him books now. He actually really seems to be paying attention and looking at the pictures and responding to your intonation. It's so cute.

When I went back to work, I had just started my master's, and I used to wake up at 4:30 to get my school work done. Kahia was 6 months at the time, so I would feed him, and then put him back down. I also liked the quiet time. It was a good way to start the morning. It might work for you. Of course, you're gonna be ready for bed right after dinner, but... It's nice to have uninterrupted, quiet time for yourself, especially now.
