the past two nights have been LONG. brynna doesn't cry as uncontrollably as caleb, yet, but she's definitely getting louder and crying more. she mainly just cries when she's waking up and wants to eat...but more often now she's crying to be held, then will fall asleep once you hold her, then wake up when she's put down.

because she's only being fed formula, i knew that she'd probably have issues with constipation. yesterday (or was it the day before??) she was straining to make doodoo and when i opened her diaper i realized it was because she was making hard doodoo. i helped her to get it out by pulling on it as she was making and eventually, after a kind of impressively long turd from such a little girl, the doodoo consistency became softer. later on she made more and it was all soft.

last night i knew she'd have problems because she hadn't made doods all day. she seemed to be in so much pain at times and only two little small turds came out. she hasn't made doods yet today, but i'm hoping it comes before the night begins.

just gave her her first real bath since her piko stump fell off. i'm trying to make sure her hair gets combed down nicely, but right after washing and drying, it definitely shows that it has the potential to do what caleb's did...poof upwards!! uhoh...oh well...at least we can put some headbands or ponytails on her!

i think i smell doods...let's hope it's soft ones!
