we've been wondering why caleb's been scratching at his head...
now i know why!!! his first molars are coming in (on the top) and the wonderful world of google tells me that it's common for kids to scratch at the back of their head to try to ease teething discomfort. poor guy...when he woke up from his afternoon nap he was in pain...inconsolable...and then my mom said she saw the teeth and when i looked at it...yep, painful!!! gave him some tylenol and he's much better now. no wonder he hasn't wanted us to brush his teeth lately...he's usually really good about it but he's been refusing us so hopefully it's just because of the teeth coming in. wow..that's 10 teeth for him now! what a big boy!
