cockroach yuckies

wth?? i've only once before found a big fat ugly flying b-52 cockroach in our house...last night, we found TWO. dave killed one in the kitchen when he went to make brynna's milk. later, at her 1200 feeding, when she didn't want to go back down, we hear a rustling sound by my night table, then we see a freakin' cockroach crawl from the table to the wall and behind our bed. grrrreat...cuz i ain't going to sleep with no fat cockroach crawling by my bed...luckily the big guy comes out again and i whack him several times with a magazine...he's on his back, but i should have known better because very soon he's crawling again and it takes several major whacks by dave to put him down. gross. for some reason, cockroaches in the house give me the hibby-jibbies. i can easily kill um in my classroom, but when i see one in the house it freaks me out. of course, after this episode all i could think of was when the next sucker would come out...was he crawling over everything in the kitchen...was there a cockroach in caleb's room, crawling in his crib???? yuck. i'm hoping that those were freak cockroaches that came in either cuz of the rain or cuz of the guys drilling and spraying outside for termites earlier in the day.
