transitions

caleb is screaming right now...we altered his crib so that it's like a daybed and we put up the baby gate in the doorway. it's been about 18 minutes so far...at least now he's stopping in between screaming...think he's getting tired. for the first ten minutes i tried putting him back in bed each time he came out, supernanny style, but basically he was at my heels back to the door so i just came out and we decided to let him cry it out. he was tired and cranky prior to us trying this, so maybe that will tire him out more quickly. poor guy...this is not as bad as the first time we had him cry it out, though...that time i was not yet a hardened mommy who could withstand the crying. lol.
